Multiply Break-Up Makes News in Manila! An article by journalist Chin Wong covers the end of blogging on this site. Somehow, your "humble correspondent" gets quoted for a line or two. I knew one day I could make trouble for myself in the Far East if I put my mind to it! http://manilastandardtoday.com/2012/08/21/go-forth-but-dont-multiply/

  1. "... astute users pointed out what should have been obvious to Multiply’s owners and managers.

“Most of our buyers use Multiply as a social networking site, so what will happen if they’re gone?” said one user..."

Pretty good article... and it appears even casual users in Indonesia and the Philippines have a better grasp of the situation than the new ownership does.

  2. "“Yeah, the wine collection,” added dnoakes. “That’s rich, ain’t it? Right out of the faux ‘I got Taste’ School of the Visual Arts.”

I guess your comment was posted at one of the groups devoted to the "death of multiply" discussion?

  5. What a load of drivel from Jack. Just about as bad as Stefan, really,” said changethechannel, in one blog.

Other users even criticized the wine collection in the background.

“Note the wine collection behind him. He even stops to sip a bit. Fat cat liar,” said bennett1.

“Yeah, the wine collection,” added dnoakes. “That’s rich, ain’t it? Right out of the faux ‘I got Taste’ School of the Visual Arts.”

Hey that was all comments from my post!!! Where are our royalties? LMAO!

  10. Its all a pack of lies of course, do they really expect us to believe that Multi-lie is "relocating from Boca Raton, Florida, to be nearer its biggest markets, Indonesia and the Philippines?" Since when did online traders have to be physically based near their markets?..... At least you weren't misquoted Doug, nice one :-)

  11. That's a very good point, AA. Multi is not exactly a "bricks-and-mortar" business, is it?

The only real reason to leave Florida is labor costs and getting around regulations.

    Thanks.
