  2. I love this song ... but then I love Annie, so of course I would.
I was going to include this cut in another mixed-music playlist but hadn't gotten there yet.

  3. Her videos are always so, um, interesting.
My major complaint about music videos is how so often the lyrics are divorced from any of the video content and that's true of most of her vids, but she more than compensates with such interesting visuals and, of course, those many, sometimes strange dresses and get-ups she wears.

  4. Me too, Chuck. Annie, besides being beautiful and even pulls off wearing a superhero costume with grace, has such an interesting face and marvelous vocal range.

Sorry I stepped on your future playlist plans.

  5. Exactly. You never know what you'll get from her videos and I think that''s part of her charm and off-beat persona.

  6. I can see a connection between the lyrics and the video content.

  7. Would you like to share the connection, Mary Ellen? ;-)

  8. Nice song Doug, I'd never heard it before which isn't surprising when I never usually hear what is number one in the charts - let alone what is number 58, there's no rhyme nor reason to it so far as I can tell. . Anyway good stuff Doug thanks for posting it.

  9. You're welcome.

I hadn't heard this one myself, AA.

A friend had a copy of her CD. As I heard this trac for a minute I hoped there was a video online. Annie Lennox always has good visual content with her music I find.

Hard to believe this song only made to #58 on the UK charts and musty have got little play over here. Shows I know nothing about pop music.

  10. To me The Dark Road in the song is the road followed down after emotional or physical trauma and the people and scenes in the video represented those having experienced various traumas.
