Obama Campaigns in Medford

For those of you who don't get enough of this on the C-Span Network...here is some video coverage of Senator Barack Obama's campaign stop in Medford, Oregon, near where I live. The video coverage shows how much people were willing to go through to get into the Kids Unlimited Center, where the rally was held. The event needless to say was big, and I might have tried to go myself but I had to work. (All tickets for the gig had been passed out almost before the stop was announced.)
GW Bush has been here at the Jackson County Fairgrounds a couple times over the years (yawn), but this is the first major Democratic Candidate to stop here in predominately Republican southern Oregon in the 19 years I've lived here. In my opinion, its nice to see such a development.
The Clinton campaign announced they would campaign here, too, but no details were forthcoming.

  1. It certainly shows that Sen. Obama values Oregon. It could be a key win for him...
