It appears we might just be at the beginning of a needed change from the "Too Proud To Talk" strategy the Bush State Department has had with Iran and Syria.

There may be a very long way to go here but apparently folks in the White House have decided to stop imagining the November elections were an affirmation of the current Iraq policy and are willing to explore long-term solutions besides sporadic "surges" of our overextended military.
