Last night my wife and I got to comfortably sit down at the kitchen table and fill out our ballots for the November 7th election. In Oregon, you can do that. There are no polling stations; it's all mail-in balots.
I wasn't crazy about this at first, but now I wouldn't want to go back to standing in line at an elementary school looking at my watch and hoping I can get my ballot filled out before I get to work.
Now all the jive of the last minute attack ads against the candidates on television and in radio ads can roll off my psyche like water off a duck. It's a good feeling.
