Obama Wins Re-election

Re-elected! Despite Koch Brothers and Sheldon Alderson Billions and Karl Rove's strategms, we still have a spokesperson for the working and middle class in the White House.

This is big stuff. It means that Affordable Health Care will most certainly never be repealed. That there will be a stoppage to social Darwinist austerity courtesy of tea party wingnuts.

Obama has his flaws, but he is a hell of a lot better than the plutocrat Romney.

  1. Yahoo!!! I might collect Social Security & Medicare after all. You know, the entitlement I've been paying into for over 41 years but Republicans regard as a government "give me" to lesser plebians otherwise known as citizens.

    1. I know exactly what you mean Da Seuss! I think that whole talk of vouchers for a Medicare system that we all pay into being pulled out from under people at 55-60-65 (just a few years before they might collect on the system that kept solvent) and making the middle class lose the program they paid into for decades played a part in the Romney/Ryan defeat.

  2. Happy for you that you have the result you wanted, He's a whole lot better then the main oposition but as far as I can see he failed to deliver two of his most important promises; they are closure of Guantanamo Bay and (in line with the rest of the civilised world) a puplic option in the health care reforms. I've never been as interested in American politics as I was last time when I believed these two promises were a real possibility. And just to clarify, this man is NOT a socialist, there is no such thing in America. But like I said........happy for you that you have the result you wanted and the alternative would have been so much worse, so congrats :-))

    1. Thanks! I'm glad you realize there is no "socialist" party in the USA to speak of.
