It is interesting to hear him speak in his true accent. I was amazed when I found out he is from the UK. He does such a good job on House with his American accent.
So true! I had only seen Hugh Laurie as Wooster and other comic roles. I confess I thought he would be a bad choice to play a American doctor with a bad attitude, until I actually started watching "House" during Season Two. I'm looking forward to the new season.
Hear hear. The only thing to do with a song this bad is to give it an encore. Here's a version of the musical misdemeanor done by the American comic bandleader Spike Jones from the early 1950's. Reportedly, Duke Ellington wept when he first heard it.
A Spike Jones and His City Slickers specialty---along with slamming doors and a starter's pistol firing away on his paramount send-up, "Cocktails for Two".
