Yes, none of that Victorian sentiment for Buster. 'Go West" was an inspired film, especially the finale of the great cattle stampede. Billy Crystal used a lot of material in that film for his "City Slickers".
Buster even managed to sneak his "persona non grata" friend--the infamous Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle in one brief moment during that finale, as a "lady" in a department store.
I prefer keaton to chaplin..old stone face took his lumps without complaint. My favorite movie of his was "Go West"
